During this time, God has put Songs of Solomon on my heart. I read it daily. This season in Hawaii has been a time where I have literally fallen in love with God. It is an intimate relationship. It is like falling in love for the very first time. It's exciting, unreal at times, and it is so comfortable and peaceful. I feel like a princess with God. He is like my knight in shining armor who came to rescue me at the perfect time.
And the best part is, He will never let me go.
"You have captured my heart, my treasure, my bride. You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes, with a single jewel of your necklace." Songs of Sol. 4:9
Jesus has wooed me. He has taken my heart captive and I could never be the same. I am His bride forever. I almost can't wait to see Jesus face to face.
